To help girls to become followers of our Lord, Jesus Christ and through reverence, self control and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life.
Both the aim and motto of GB (ie. Seek, Serve and Follow Christ) sets a good vision for 1st KL GB which reminds us to always strike a balance between providing wholesome activities and nurturing them to be women after Gods’ heart.
Main Activities/Programs
GB takes place weekly on Saturdays, from 1.00pm to 6.00pm. Some of the activities include the following:
- Girl Handbells Choir
- Worship + Prayer
- Badge Work (Achievement)
- Drill
- Games
- Bible Study
- Special Activities and Programmes

GB has four sub-groups called sections. Each section seeks to cater to the specific developmental and social needs of the children within their age group. The sections are:
- Cadets (5 to 8 years old)
- Juniors (9 to 11 years old)
- Seniors (12 to 14 years old)
- Pioneers (15 to 18 years old)

1st KL GB is also currently lacking manpower and looking for more volunteers to help serve in this ministry. It is challenging for us as we now only have a handful of helpers serving on a weekly basis. We urge the church leadership to keep us in prayer as we continue to reach out for more help. Please also help pray for strength & wisdom for the current serving officers who are dedicated in coming week in, week out to serve.
