POSITION SUMMARY
To walk alongside the young adults (21-35 years old) as they step deeper into their faith.
To connect with them at a social and spiritual level, with the intent of discipling them towards Christ-like maturity.
This position reports to the Pastor-in-charge.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

Work closely with the Young Adults to develop and encourage their spiritual growth in Christ.

Provide guidance and support based on Biblical principles to Young Adults.

To equip the Young Adults with organisational leadership skills e.g. time management, managing finance, resolving conflicts, etc.

Develop a plan to get young adults involved in biblical community through small groups.

Plan and execute Young Adult ministry events, camps, and retreats.

Provide church-wide visibility and communication to Young Adult activities.

Be the primary communicator for the Young Adult Ministry.

Identify, develop and implement solutions to strategic needs for Young Adult Ministries.

To carry out work that the Pastor-in-charge may ask to do from time to time
LEADERSHIP

Grow, develop, and lead a young adult leadership team.

Manage Young Adult ministry budget

Participate on the Local Church Executive Committee (LCEC)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-
Demonstrated mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ.
-
2-5 years experiences in Young Adult Ministry.

Good interpersonal skills with strong relationship-building mindset.

Preferably to have a certificate/diploma/degree in Theological studies. If not, would be open to pursuing one.

Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

Moderate to advanced computer skills to facilitate ministry activities.
